How Do Wet Wipe Machines Work?

    1. Raw Material Feeding
The machine starts by feeding rolls of spunlace nonwoven fabric through the main section of the machine. The material is unrolled and passed into the machine for further processing.

    2. Cutting and Folding
As the fabric moves through the machine, it is cut to the desired size. The fabric is then folded into specific shapes (e.g., Z-fold or C-fold) depending on the intended application of the wipe.

    3. Wetting System
The cut and folded wipes are passed through a wetting system, which applies a specific solution to them. This solution often includes water, alcohol, and other sanitizing or moisturizing agents, depending on the purpose of the wet wipe.

    4. Stacking or Rolling
The wet wipes are then stacked or rolled as per the packaging requirements. Some machines can produce individual wipes, while others produce larger rolls that can be cut into individual pieces.

    5. Packaging
The final step is packaging. The wipes are inserted into packages, which could be soft plastic pouches, hard cases, or individual sachets. The packaging machine may also add features like resealable lids or perforations to ensure freshness and ease of use.

    6. Sealing and Labeling
Once packaged, the containers or pouches are sealed to prevent the solution from drying out. Some machines may also apply a label to each package, especially for branded products.

A wet wipe machine can be adapted to pack various products beyond just standard wet wipes. Here’s a list of products commonly packed with these machine.
