Main production process:
1. Spunbonding process: This process involves the extrusion of polymer through spinnerets, which forms continuous filaments. Then, these filaments are laid on a moving belt or drum in a random manner, which is then bonded together by heat.
2. Meltblown process: In this process, the polymer is melted and extruded through fine nozzles, which forms microfibers. These microfibers are then collected on a moving belt or drum, which is then bonded together by heat.
3. Bonding process: This process involves the bonding of spunbond and meltblown layers. The fabric is passed through a calender machine, where heat and pressure are applied simultaneously, which helps in bonding the layers.
4. Winding process: Finally, the fabric is wound onto rolls, which can be further processed as per the requirement.
